Today we would like to take this moment to introduce ourselves to you and give you a little overview of what our vision is with The Plooshies and what we have been working on over the past few months. The founding team consists of 3 people in total.

We come from Europe and Asia. Viktor and Paul founded a startup together five years ago. We started with a B2B SaaS solution and got into blockchain two years ago. The projects we implemented were initially at the consulting level in the B2B space. In the course of that, we got to know Gwin. In June 2022, we decided to stop taking on new client projects and to invest all our resources in our own project. We have worked with many large companies over the past few years and have built up a large network. This will help us to realize selected web2 collaborations faster in the future.
Are there any other team members?
Yes. On our journey in the last weeks and months we recurrently discussed our ideas with friends from the web3 community. You'll know some of them, too. Mentors and advisors have emerged from this. Also, a few weeks ago we were able to convince more people to join the project and the vision of The Plooshies. We have additional team members with backgrounds in social media, DeFi and community management.
How can I work with the Plooshies?
We are overwhelmed by how many people would like to become mods or CM. Right now, we are well set up, but we will definitely give some people from the community a chance to become part of the team soon. If you are interested, please send us your application using this form. Please tell us something about yourself and your motivation. This is the most important point.
Why are we sharing all this with you already?
Because we want you to know exactly who you will be spending your time with.
One thing is important for us: transparency and loyalty. Quite likely we make one or two mistakes and there might be a few disagreements. However, I can promise you that we will always give it our all to grow together and become a cohesive unit and end up having a lot of fun on many levels.
What were our points of contact in the NFT space?
It all started in June 2021 when we bought our Pudgy Penguin for 0.199 ETH and named him Viktor the Viking. We love to sit down and create stories. That's how the story of Viktor the Viking was born.
And then?
During early 2022 we worked for a project as a service provider for development for 3 months. Eventually, we came to the conclusion to no longer just operate as a community member or mere service provider but continue our journey with a project of our own. We look forward to utilizing our rich experiences from, both, the web2 and web3 world to do our part as founders to make the Plooshies family thrive in the coming months and decades.
What drives us?
We believe in the good in people and in the web3 space. We strongly believe that blockchain will help to make the world a better place for many people in the future. We want to empower people around the world to thrive and prosper.
Community Alignment
To achieve this goal, we believe it is of utmost importance to operate in close unison with the future community of the project. We believe that listening closely and working hand in hand with members of the community is one of the key aspects that allows web3 projects to have an edge over more traditional web2 businesses. Sadly, based on our observations we did only a handful of project founders – such as Luca Netz who took over Pudgy Penguins – truly leverage this approach to their fullest. We want to contribute to changing that, and therefore decided to not only aim to constantly engage with our larger community as a whole but also introduce an "Inner Circle" of a couple hundred community members that we will have weekly discord meetings with to ensure founders and community are aligned with what Plooshies are building towards.
Storytelling & Gaming
In the many applications we received for the Inner Circle, we read over and over again that the kind of storytelling we employed for the Plooshies reminded people of their childhood. That's exactly the point. We're bringing childhood, lightheartedness and fun back to your adult life. Together, let's create a place where everyone can be themselves, grow, develop and have a lot of fun. However, being an NFT owner is not only about family but also about financial interests. If you invest today, in the best case you want to receive a higher profit in the future. In the best case, one that makes life carefree in the long run. We have already looked at ways to make this happen. In addition to licensing NFTs, which the Pudgy Penguins already pioneer, there are other undiscovered opportunities that we want to work towards. In our opinion, the potential of NFTs is far from exhausted.
What do the Plooshies stand for in the web2 and web3?
Again, we have a clear roadmap that we will share with the Inner Circle very soon. We as the founding team are at the helm, contributing ideas and strategies, but you as a family are shaping the path with us and determining the direction we're headed.

What criteria did we use to decide?

It's about the story you told us. Alfons has laughed a lot, smiled a lot and often had tears in his eyes. We only opened your Twitter profile for the first time after the decision. Every application had the same chance.

Mint procedure
All people on the Plooshlist have access to a guaranteed mint for 6 hours. After that, the guarantee expires. After 6 hours, anyone on the WL can mint.
Public Mint
Most likely a public mint will not happen, as we expect a sell-out during the whitelist phase due to the small collection. Accordingly, you should contact us in advance and fill out the form on the website.
Collaboration
As mentioned above, we will allocate 30% to partners, alpha groups and people who want to support the project. You can distribute these spots within the community and also run internal competitions. Please tell us in your application what added value you would like to bring to our community.

Twitter messages
This weekend we have decide to disable the messaging feature for a while. We really tried to answer all messages even if it was just a "gm". However, it is impossible to answer all the requests. We replied to 50 people and had 50 new messages in our inbox. Also, Twitter tends to ban your account for several hours after about one hour of actively replying to messages. Twitter classifies an account with that many DMs as suspicious and therefore quickly locks it for several hours. We ask for your understanding.

Why don't we do classic raffles on other Twitter channels?
We managed to gain 7,000+ followers in 4 days. No promo, no bots. Simply because of you! We want to grow organically. We want to build a real family and not "inflate" our following unnecessarily. If you look at the ratio (follower-to-interaction ratio) of the first tweets, we have a higher ratio today than even many blue-chip projects. We prefer to grow slowly but steadily.

A total of 275 Plooshies were minted. In total only 5% missed it. We had deliberately left a few spots open. We have minted the remaining 25 Spots + 33 Spots (Team Treasury 1% Supply) with the Deployer Wallet. In total we have done 3 transactions. The 25 NFT's will be given to the community afterwards. How are the spots on the Plooshlist distributed?
You are the heart of the project, so we want you as active members to get as many spots as possible. Beyond that, there are partnerships, friends, and the team. Every week we give you the opportunity to win Plooshlist spots through Mini-Games in the chapters. What happens to the remaining spots?

Different from the Plooshlist the whitelist/ Allowlist will be overallocated. At this stage, it's called: first come, first served.
When Discord?
It will only be open to Inner Circle members until mint. After mint it will be open for all owners. After that, the community will decide if it will be open to everyone else or if it will remain a closed for public. Update: We will open a public announcement channel on Monday, 27. March 2023.
